Migrating from Outlook and .pst to Google Apps for Business (Gmail)

So I've been moving over my company from our old traditonal hosted email to Google Apps for Business (Gmail).  It has been going pretty smoothly the Outlook migration utility is great and only generated a few errors while moving our data into the Google cloud. Got around some of those by running as Administrator or disabling processes on troublesome PCs. The other issue is when people try and access Gmail from Thunderbird.  They have tons of migrated folders that are nested within the INBOX folder i.e. Inbox/Client A.  They could see the folders but couldn't see any emails in the folders. I figured out that if you move the folders to the top-level (moving out of the inbox) then the error goes away. It usually gave an Unknown Mailbox error. So just pull the Inbox/Client A to /Client A.  Hope you follow and hope that helps.

hiatus is over

 my hiatus is now over from my blog. I am paid up and ready to write. Time to actually get some good shit on this blog. I know I've said something like that before but hey we try and try again.  This blog will just have stuff I learn and like on it. Just stuff that makes sense to me adam stuff that's my logic.  Do over ------START!
